Rula Homecare staff provide a robust resource of experienced specialist support workers who are responsive and can flexibly meet the needs of disabled children and young people.

Staff will support children with a variation of disabilities up to 18 years old which can be delivered within the family homes and/or out in the community in a s

 

Rula Homecare staff provide a robust resource of experienced specialist support workers who are responsive and can flexibly meet the needs of disabled children and young people.

Staff will support children with a variation of disabilities up to 18 years old which can be delivered within the family homes and/or out in the community in a support ratio, worker to child, of between 1:1 and 4:1 which is based on assessed need.
Rula Homecare staff are thoroughly trained and qualified to support children with specific and complex health needs, challenging behaviors, disabilities, including the use of specialist equipment and alternative methods of communication. 





  • Personal care including washing, bathing, toiletting, dressing and feeding 
  • 24/7 care for complex support including autism, cerebral palsy and epilepsy 
  • Medication Support
  • Accessing the community 
  • Assistance with meal preparation - Nutrition and Hydration
  • PEG Feeding
  • Overnight support in the family home - sleep in or wake night

Rula Homecare provides experienced social care support workers who can flexibility meet the needs of children and young people , working with children, young people and their families in the family home to enable a safe and stable environment.

Rula Homecare provides experienced social care support workers who can flexibility meet the needs of children and young people , working with children, young people and their families in the family home to enable a safe and stable environment.

Rula Homecare supports children up to 18 years old and can be delivered within family homes and/or in the community, with a support ratio based on an assessed need of up to 4:1.
Rula Homecare works with multi disciplinary teams to determine the specific support required to help children and their families working towards goals following the creation of a child centered plan. Rula Homecare management team and support workers work in close collaboration with multi disciplinary teams to ensure the required needs are upheld.

 Rula Homecare offers a bespoke education service offering an alternative provision across a variety of subject areas. The alternative education provision is for those aged from 19 to 24 years with an EHCP who are currently not in education or experiencing placement breakdown.

Rula Homecare staff support children and young people from a range of backgrounds.

Rula Homecare staff work, in collaboration with Inclusion services, meeting outcomes on their EHCP, accompanied with a person centered care plan and extensive risk assessments. Rula Homecare can offer programmes up to 2:1 based on assessed needs. 

 We can provide an education package either in the family home, the community or in one of our offices based in Ipswich town center.  

 Our bespoke programme takes into account their current EHCP, using an holistic and therapeutic approach, to enhance the young persons personal, social and emotional development. 

  • Young people in public care who have had disrupted care placements and/or schooling;
  • Children and young people with additional needs i.e. Autism

  • Students waiting for a place within mainstream education or special schools
  • Social, emotional and mental health
